CJ's Got Game
CJ was recently at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary for a meeting related to Together for the Gospel. During a break one afternoon, he arranged for a basketball game—CJ, John MacArthur, and Thabiti Anyabwile against 3 students. The dream team lost the first game, but won the second and, from what I hear, those who crowded in to see if CJ's statements in the Chapel last November were accurate found that, yes, the man's still got game.
Scott O'Neal, a student at Southern, posted this and some more action shots on his blog.

Bad Guy Caught With a Mac: This is a great story. A girl's Apple laptop gets stolen but she uses a remote access program to control it and takes a picture of the thief as the doofus sits in front of the stolen computer. "Smile! You're getting your mug shot taken!" Using the picture, the police nab the bad guy. Moral of the story? Don't mess with a high-tech girl's Mac.
New Word Alive's Top 10: The recent New Word Alive conference showed a video top-ten list of books for students. My book Sex is Not the Problem made the list. It's pretty funny. I just wish mine could have made it in the wok.

Church?
"I am reading Joshua Harris book Stop Dating the Church...love it. He talks about the people who believe they can be Christians and never go to church. I have heard this argument many times. They don't believe you have to fellowship..." (Read full post here.)
Jargon Meets Advice
"Boy Meets Girl: I read part of this back when I bought it 7-ish years ago. If you get past the jargon-y parts it has some solid advice." (Read full post here.)
A Brief Review
"I think this book [Sex is Not the Problem (Lust Is)] would appeal to both teenagers and parents, although I would give the parents the book first to read. This is not explicit in its language but it does tackle the difficult questions." (Read full post here.)

Hey Josh,
Thank you for posting this. Someday I would like to go to Southern Seminary.

Josh,
Glad to see that C.J.'s phenomenal "skills" are finally being put on display for all to affirm, and that you are more than willing to help out in that endeavor.
By the way...Jim mentioned that you still remember that pineapple you'd gotten a few years back at New Attitude '04. Much to my chagrine, I didn't mention it when I saw you while I was at Covenant Life a month ago. Oh well :)

I am only kidding but that isn't fair that you get to connect to John MacArthur. (Dr.) I learn alot about the Bible from him and miss his radio programs sometimes. I am always amazed at the connections some of these radio preachers I am familiar with have with others.
THank you for sharing. I would like to see a close up of him ... He looks different on here vs his professional photo on his stuff through his ministry.
