Strange Fruit

I was very impressed today when I came across this banana my assistant, Katherine, had doodled on. Yes, she's multi-talented. Anyone else have odd fruit creations? Feel free to comment and link photos of them.

Stephen Altrogge Reviews Dug Down Deep: Over at the Blazing Center blog they've posted a very generous review of the book. Read it.
Sex-Trafficking in USA: A recent nation-wide crackdown rescued 52 children from sex-trafficking. The LA Times reports that most victims in this wicked industry begin at age 12. And it's "estimated that 100,000 children are still involved in sex trafficking in the U.S., adding that the problem is growing partly because of the recession." Read the article.
Andrew Gallo VstheBrain: Here are some still shots and technical specs on the video shoot we did the other day. I haven't gotten around to asking Andrew to explain his company's name VstheBrain, but it sounds cool. Read post.

No strange fruit to contribute. Sorry. My fruit doesn't last long enough to allow me to draw on.
My question - Did Katherine have anyone particular in mind as she was doodling? And I trust this doodling exercise wasn't during a staff meeting, or something like that?! ;)
Blessings, Josh, and thank you again for your ministry and the Lord's work through you and S.G.

You trust correctly. But surely I wouldn't be the first to multi-task during a staff meeting...even if not everyone is so fruitful in doing so.

Alaska? Have fruit? you've gotta be kidding. if you're talking about the frozen stuff that's already pretty bad in the grocery store... well, that stuff isnt the greatest to draw on. Wish I was that talented. I laughed pretty hard when I looked at it just because I'm totally impressed!

Here's some food art.
This guy at the summer camp where I worked a few years would take a knife, some fruit, and make really cool looking stuff.

I admire Katherine for being a multi-talented being. I like the banana, it was so amazing to find someone who have passion for fruits.
