Bad Guy Caught With a Mac: This is a great story. A girl's Apple laptop gets stolen but she uses a remote access program to control it and takes a picture of the thief as the doofus sits in front of the stolen computer. "Smile! You're getting your mug shot taken!" Using the picture, the police nab the bad guy. Moral of the story? Don't mess with a high-tech girl's Mac.
New Word Alive's Top 10: The recent New Word Alive conference showed a video top-ten list of books for students. My book Sex is Not the Problem made the list. It's pretty funny. I just wish mine could have made it in the wok.
Challies on Do Hard Things: Here's a review by Tim Challies of my brothers' new book Do Hard Things.

Church?
"I am reading Joshua Harris book Stop Dating the Church...love it. He talks about the people who believe they can be Christians and never go to church. I have heard this argument many times. They don't believe you have to fellowship..." (Read full post here.)
Jargon Meets Advice
"Boy Meets Girl: I read part of this back when I bought it 7-ish years ago. If you get past the jargon-y parts it has some solid advice." (Read full post here.)
A Brief Review
"I think this book [Sex is Not the Problem (Lust Is)] would appeal to both teenagers and parents, although I would give the parents the book first to read. This is not explicit in its language but it does tackle the difficult questions." (Read full post here.)

Hi Josh!! I'm so gratefull God has given us the opportunity to listen to such great messages at the conference....I would love to download them but it seems everytime I try to do this I get an error page....do you know why this is??

This is SO great, making the messages available like this. I was VERY impressed last month, hearing John Piper announce (in Portland) that ALL the messages from previous Bethlehem Pastors Conferences are available online, at no charge...and now you are doing the same thing. So many organisations would hold onto these messages as a source of revenue. The fact that you make them available like this speaks very strongly that your first aim is to serve the body at large...and that you understand God's faithfulness to provide the tools you need to accomplish this....including financing. This is a most welcome change...and I sincerely hope it is contagious!!!! I've not listened to them yet--I only just now completed the downloads. But I've this rather strong idea that next year I may have to saddle up and get myself out to wherever it is next year..I know SO many who've gone. It seems to have evolved from a weekend for high school/early college "kids" to something for the entire body at large. Another excellent change.

You guys are awesome for doing this.
I wish I could have been at New Attitude personally. While I was unable to do so, this is the next best thing.
