For Preachers: Learning from Mr. Bullmore

Mike Bullmore, the pastor of Crossway Community Church in Kenosha, WI, is a dear friend and skilled preacher. He taught homiletics at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School for many years. We've had Mike in to preach at our church on several occasions and he's also spoken at New Attitude. I consider him "Piperesque" in his exegetical precision and passionate, soul-stirring delivery of biblical truth.

Recently I listened to a seminar for pastors that Mike taught at the Sovereign Grace Leaders Conference. The session is entitled "Watch Your Preaching" and it focuses on the sermon preparation process for a single message. It is excellent. Mike gives the big picture theologically of our responsibility as preachers as well as the up-close focus on the practical stages of preparation.

The best part is that this message is that it's available free on the Sovereign Grace website. If you're a preacher I highly recommend it.

Thanks for the resource. I eagerly anticipate God using it to equip me to preach more effectively for the kingdom!
