What I'm Listening To: I just bought The Weepies new album Hideaway
. Shannon and I are in my office. She's reading and I'm filing and paying bills. I like this album. Great melodies. Good working, studying, chillin' out music.
Bad Guy Caught With a Mac: This is a great story. A girl's Apple laptop gets stolen but she uses a remote access program to control it and takes a picture of the thief as the doofus sits in front of the stolen computer. "Smile! You're getting your mug shot taken!" Using the picture, the police nab the bad guy. Moral of the story? Don't mess with a high-tech girl's Mac.
New Word Alive's Top 10: The recent New Word Alive conference showed a video top-ten list of books for students. My book Sex is Not the Problem made the list. It's pretty funny. I just wish mine could have made it in the wok.

Church?
"I am reading Joshua Harris book Stop Dating the Church...love it. He talks about the people who believe they can be Christians and never go to church. I have heard this argument many times. They don't believe you have to fellowship..." (Read full post here.)
Jargon Meets Advice
"Boy Meets Girl: I read part of this back when I bought it 7-ish years ago. If you get past the jargon-y parts it has some solid advice." (Read full post here.)
A Brief Review
"I think this book [Sex is Not the Problem (Lust Is)] would appeal to both teenagers and parents, although I would give the parents the book first to read. This is not explicit in its language but it does tackle the difficult questions." (Read full post here.)

"We want to spread this to as many people in this generation as we possible can"
Hi Josh, you finished the video with the sentence a coted up here, in light of that sentence I would like to ask you if you have any plans to go international with New Attitude, it could include helping young adults from other countries to attend New Attitude in US, or training foreigners pastors to do the same in their home countries, or even trying to "adopt" another country and take your crew every 2 year to do a New Attitude in the country you've adopted. I am just thinking... there is such a huge need for those kind of things in my country and in many other countries I believe so. I don't know what your thoughts about it are, if you have plans already, or if you are even curious to know how is the situation of Christian young adults in other countries, and that is exactly the reason why I am sending this so I can get to know what your thoughts are and if you are curious or have interest in any of these things. Well, keep in touch and count on my prayers in your life and ministry.
In Christ,
Filipe Niel

Regarding posting: I think your original comments didn't post because you forgot to enter the letter in the box after the comment. I went back and found Adrienne's. Filipe, I haven't found yours yet. Please post it again and make sure to put the letter in the box!

"Are you going to be there?"
YES!
At first I was reluctant about the topic because in my pride I think I have enough knowledge of God's word, but it's important (if not vital) to apply God's word specifically in order to reflect who God is and what he is like. Josh, I really like the idea of spending a weekend to discuss about the importance of God's word; as a pharmacy student, it's the perfect prescription for justified sinners who desire to reflect the Savior as dearly loved sons and daughters in Christ! Looking forward to it... 34 more days!

Filipe,
I really like your ideas and will share them with the NA team. We're a small outfit in many ways, but we'd love to serve our international brothers and sisters if we can.
