Stuff I Got to Do Today: New Attitude Day 2
We pack so much in at this conference, a day feels like a year. Justin Buzzard is doing a great job live-blogging. You should check it out. Here's a run-down of my day.
I got to...
て「 Listen to Mark Dever give a great apologetic for the authority of God's word. He spoke to skeptics and believers alike with great clarity. Listen here.
て「 Sit next to Al Mohler as he brilliantly answered questions from the audience like, "How do we as Christians interpret and apply the OT law today?" and "What makes the Bible distinct from other religious books that claim to have divine authority (the Koran, etc.)?" I was ready at any time to help him if he had trouble with any questions but he did fine without my help. Listen here.
て「 Eat lunch with my editor and have him tell me the deadline for my book which wasn't fun at all but I needed to hear it. Yikes.
て「 Read Isaiah 53 during worship accompanied by a string section. Incredible. I was so moved as I read the description of Christ being crushed for our iniquities.
て「 Introduce CJ before he gave great message from Psalm 42 about God's word and our feelings. Listen here.
て「 Do an interview with CJ after the session that Sovereign Grace plans to use for one of the Mission Videos later this fall. It was wonderful having CJ share his heart about our little family of churches, how God is positioning us to be able to plant more churches and his excitement to see the gospel being transferred to the next generation at New Attitude.
て「 Finally, I got to lock myself out of my room and have to go back to the lobby to get a new key. Yah!
Goodnight.

Thanks for making those messages available to us so quickly! It's like I was there... only it wasn't as loud :-)
May the Lord bless the rest of your trip.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who got locked out of my room...
The message you gave so encouraged and convicted me! Thanks so much!
