It's a busy day today for the Harris family and Covenant Life Church and I'd appreciate your prayers for us this weekend.
Yesterday, after a four-hour flight delay, my family from Oregon (along with my grandma from Ohio) arrived at the Baltimore airport. Alex and Brett are in Virginia for an appearance on a CBN television show. They'll be coming in tonight.
Today the amazing volunteer team led by young adults from the church will be working to set up for the Rebelution conference. The band, led by my brother Joel, will be rehearsing. There are a lot of details to cover. Please pray for grace and strength for everybody involved.
Then tonight at 7pm, our church culminates our Week of Prayer for the next generation with a night of worship and prayer. We're going to be seeking God, praying for students in our church and in the community, and asking God to draw young adults to himself.
If you're here from out of town for the Rebelution conference, we invite you to join us. We'll also be praying for the day tomorrow.
Saturday, it's all-day Do Hard Things featuring the twins and my dad. And then Sunday dad will preach at Covenant Life. Whew! What a whirlwind! If you think of my dear wife Shannon, please pray that God will help her manage all the details of hosting 11 people at our house. Thanks! And I hope to see you tonight!

I've been looking forward to the Rebelution conference for awhile!
I'll be praying for ya'lls.
Wow! Sounds like an intense weekend! But it's absolutely true: "We can do ALL things through Christ who gives us strength." I'll be praying!
I'll be praying Josh. Greetings from Mexico City!
It's a weekend for Doing Hard Things, I guess.
My kids really enjoyed The Rebelution in Dallas. They were already somewhat familiar with Alex and Brett from the blog, but they really like Joel too. They told me about the songs they sang and some of the things he said. I think the highlight of the conference for my son was talking to Joel during one of the breaks.
Hi...can you pray for a friend of mine? She's in a...well, bluntly, a rather abusive relationship with her husband, much mental abuse and some physical - some of it VERY serious - but she seemingly refuses to accept just how bad things are. I'm really, really worried that something really bad is going to happen to her, if it hasn't already - I haven't heard from her in a few weeks. :( So if you could pray for her protection and safety and security and peace...thanks.
sorry for the off comment;I'm reading ur book 'boy meets girl' and I want to ask for an advise; I'm not yet done but I cannot find my present situation in it..
Maybe Shannon should stay in a hotel for the weekend! I'm just kidding. I hope you all have tons of fun -- we'll be praying for you all and everything going on this weekend!
