Brooke Fraser
Brooke Fraser: My buddy, Robert, emailed me to tell me that I'd enjoy the new album by a girl named Brooke Fraser. She's a young singer from New Zealand who has sung on some of the Hillsong United worship albums. Now she's done a pop record. Right now you can grab it on iTunes for only $5.99. I bought the album and I like it so far.

Pilgrim's Progress Musical: Pilgrim is a modern musical adaptation of John Bunyan's classic work, Pilgrim's Progress. It was performed in spring 2009 by the high school students at my church. They did a great job. The script is by theatre professionals (and members of our church) Janice Mays and Cathy Mays. The music is by various artists, including Bob Kauflin, Zach Jones and Mark Altrogge. You can order a DVD of the production here.
Give Me An Answer Highschool Conference: I'm looking forward to joining Al Mohler, Russell Moore, Shane & Shane and hip-hop artist Flame at the SBTS conference for highschool students next spring. Details.
Stephen Altrogge Reviews Dug Down Deep: Over at the Blazing Center blog they've posted a very generous review of the book. Read it.

I love this album. She has another album called "what to do with daylight" i believe. Her writing style is very poetic - kinda like the Psalms. track 6 and 10 are the best on the albertine album you have put here! it's delightful goodness.

Wow, I can't believe you Americans are only just getting into Brooke Fraser - over here in Australia she's been the biggest female artist since Amy Grant or Becky st Jimmy! Take a look at her Albertine album too, it goes alright.
Looking forward to hopefully catching up with you at WorshipGod 08!

Ah, the Albertine album, love it. I've had it for a long time and I'm still not tired of it. She's coming to New Orleans, hopefully I'll get to go.
