Mahaney on Humor
Mahaney on Humor: Humor is a gift from God. When humbly and wisely used, it is a means of transferring truth and generating joy. This message by C.J. Mahaney addresses how we can use humor to build others up and honor God. It's worth a listen.

Pilgrim's Progress Musical: Pilgrim is a modern musical adaptation of John Bunyan's classic work, Pilgrim's Progress. It was performed in spring 2009 by the high school students at my church. They did a great job. The script is by theatre professionals (and members of our church) Janice Mays and Cathy Mays. The music is by various artists, including Bob Kauflin, Zach Jones and Mark Altrogge. You can order a DVD of the production here.
Give Me An Answer Highschool Conference: I'm looking forward to joining Al Mohler, Russell Moore, Shane & Shane and hip-hop artist Flame at the SBTS conference for highschool students next spring. Details.
Stephen Altrogge Reviews Dug Down Deep: Over at the Blazing Center blog they've posted a very generous review of the book. Read it.

Hi Josh,
The link does not seem to be working. All I could come up with is that the "c" in "covlife was missing, but after adding it, still no go.
Thought you might want to know.

Josh, I show the link broken as well. I think you just need to fix the hyperlink by adding "www.c" to the front end, then it works just fine.
And thanks for the link, this is an issue that I would love to hear him and a couple of other guys discuss with regard to humor in the pulpit.

yes, thank God for humor and joy. how awesome is it to laugh out loud together with loved ones, and at the same time, i think we should be watchful of our tendency for wanting to be entertained.
