Baby Meerkats

Okay, just in case anyone is worried, this blog is not turning into a "cute animal pictures" site. But this photo of triplet baby meerkats by AP photographer Patrick Straub featured on The Washington Post was too good to pass up. The middle meerkat's expression is so "human." Just seems like he's having a good time. Made me smile. Thanks for making meerkats, God.

My daughter loves to watch meerkats on a dvd she got last Christmas. Those little creatures exist to make much of their Creator.

Josh, if you ever make it up to Brooklyn to visit, we will take your family to see some of those little meerkats at the Zoo.

You missed this question, I think, in your last post.
Where is the Bio you used to have posted that your twin brothers wrote? It was quite funny.
Thanks.

Michele,

We don't have my brothers bio on the site. We'll have to find it and repost it sometime soon. Thanks for the suggestion.

Joshua

You just know the one in the middle is the trouble maker. I can see it in those eyes...definitely hatching a scheme.

And, Josh, we understand that every once in a great while a cute baby animal picture can be used for any number of reasons. Not the least of which is a good measure of shock value on a blog such as yours. We will not hold it against you if you decide to post more in the future. But if you do, I think a caption contest would be the only way to go.

i've never seen a relaxed meerkat, so it is my theory he is thinking, "What was that noise? What was THAT noise? WHAT WAS THAT NOISE?"

"thanks for making meerkats, God".. hahaha, i love it. this reminds me, i should thank God for making squirrels because they look like my one-year-old daughter, now i call her, 'squirrel' and smile.

I'm a reader of this blog down here in the Lone Star State and as it is you may have heard of Hurricane Ike. For us down here it is a little unsettling for lack of better terms and if anyone who reads this would take the time to say a prayer for us I'd be grateful(not to mention many others). Everything is really in disaray for some people and so please keep us and the rest of the states along the coast in your prayers.

Thanks,

Rachel

You should watch Meerkat Manor on Animal Planet. I don't have cable but it's on so much that whenever i'm somewhere that does have cable, i'm able to watch it. Good stuff! Their on the 4th or 5th season now. Best reality show, hands down!
