The Conference Formerly Known as New Attitude
The Conference Formerly Known as New Attitude: After ten years, we're giving New Attitude a new name. Let's be honest, the only thing called New Attitude is a bad Patti Labelle song from the 80's and a few cheap nail salons in strip malls. I can be critical because I'm the one who came up with that name! But on January 28th, it's history. We'll launch a new website that will announce the new name, the theme of this year's conference and the line-up of speakers with all the registration info. Stay tuned!

Pilgrim's Progress Musical: Pilgrim is a modern musical adaptation of John Bunyan's classic work, Pilgrim's Progress. It was performed in spring 2009 by the high school students at my church. They did a great job. The script is by theatre professionals (and members of our church) Janice Mays and Cathy Mays. The music is by various artists, including Bob Kauflin, Zach Jones and Mark Altrogge. You can order a DVD of the production here.
Give Me An Answer Highschool Conference: I'm looking forward to joining Al Mohler, Russell Moore, Shane & Shane and hip-hop artist Flame at the SBTS conference for highschool students next spring. Details.
Stephen Altrogge Reviews Dug Down Deep: Over at the Blazing Center blog they've posted a very generous review of the book. Read it.

But what song will we now sing in our car pools?
I always sang "I need a new attitude" (Patti Labelle style) on the way to NA and "I gotta new attitude" on the way home.
Ha!
Looking forward to the big reveal.

Oh no! Well... My guess is it will be a two word phrase (like New Attitude but obviously different), something which flows both regularly and compacted (NA NA NANANANA!), something with a double entendre (NA is Sodium!), and something close to home (We all needed a new attitude every time we went). But those are just categories, as to what it will actually be called I have no idea. It could be something like Finding Edge (Fe, known as Iron), but better.
