Cherry Blossoms
Video Description: Today we gave mom some time off and spent a few hours enjoying the Cherry Blossoms in DC. Emma, Joshua Quinn and Mary Kate visit the FDR Memorial, circle the whole Tidal Basin, climb a few trees (before finding out they're not allowed to) and even get interviewed by GW journalist students. Music courtesy of the incredible Jeremy White.

Pilgrim's Progress Musical: Pilgrim is a modern musical adaptation of John Bunyan's classic work, Pilgrim's Progress. It was performed in spring 2009 by the high school students at my church. They did a great job. The script is by theatre professionals (and members of our church) Janice Mays and Cathy Mays. The music is by various artists, including Bob Kauflin, Zach Jones and Mark Altrogge. You can order a DVD of the production here.
Give Me An Answer Highschool Conference: I'm looking forward to joining Al Mohler, Russell Moore, Shane & Shane and hip-hop artist Flame at the SBTS conference for highschool students next spring. Details.
Stephen Altrogge Reviews Dug Down Deep: Over at the Blazing Center blog they've posted a very generous review of the book. Read it.

Your children are adorable! Nice soundtrack! How can I get more Jeremy White music? Asleep In A Storm and the latest Na record are getting worn out...

I loved watching that, Josh. First, because it is windy, cold and snow flurries are flying outside my window today here in Nebraska so it is good to be reminded of spring. And, secondly, it is also warming to think of spending time with my kids like you did with yours. It's kind of like looking at the cherry blossoms -- it's a beautiful thing to behold and it's gone before you know it. God is good. Thanks for posting it.
