A Baptism Testimony: Kristin Hoover

This is the testimony of Kristin Hoover, one of the seven young adults who were baptized last Sunday at our church.

I'm so grateful to God for these students and the grace of God in their lives. All of them took part in a new Youth Baptism Class for youth in their mid-to-upper teens and their parents. Led by our youth pastors Dave Brewer and Matt Maka, the class looks at the meaning of baptism, who should be baptized, how we can be sure of our salvation, and the importance of the local church.

Our God is so great...I don't understand how anyone...even me who doesn't know Kristin, could watch that and not be completely moved and thankful to the Lord for the great stuff He does in the lives of people. Thank you Lord!!

Pilgrim's Progress Musical: Pilgrim is a modern musical adaptation of John Bunyan's classic work, Pilgrim's Progress. It was performed in spring 2009 by the high school students at my church. They did a great job. The script is by theatre professionals (and members of our church) Janice Mays and Cathy Mays. The music is by various artists, including Bob Kauflin, Zach Jones and Mark Altrogge. You can order a DVD of the production here.
