I Pray That God Will Be With You

A good friend who knows I'm neck-deep in the book-revising process sent me an email saying that he would be praying for me. Then he wrote,

"My prayer for you is that God would be with you. Not in the evangelical cliche sense, but in the sense of God's strong and real and abiding presence, upholding you, going before you, and within you (Ps 139)."

What better prayer can someone pray for you? I was encouraged personally and motivated to make this same request for others.

josh...we just finished a series in our church on lust and tonight we wrapped it up with a men's dinner and commitment time. We were able to hand out over 75 copies of your book "Sex Is Not The Problem...Lust Is" to the fathers in our church and encourage them to read it with their sons. Thanks for your honesty and willingness to speak so plainly and Biblically about these issues. It might take a lot of work to write them and edit them but the impact they have on people's lives is eternal. Blessings my friend. Brien
