Job by John Piper-Illustrated Edition
Watched this video for John Piper's book of poetry based on the Old Testament book of Job and my thoughts went to a number of dear saints I know who are grieving and suffering today. My prayers are with you.

That looks really neat. I think we have the unillustrated version. I should read it - after the school semester is over. :)

Literally, at the beginning of this year, a great tragedy hit my family. That one line, "Oh God, with feeble fingers, I cling to the ledge of your great grace" sums up what my family has been going through since January 3. Even though these past few months have been dark, still, I cling to that ledge of God's great grace.

Wow that is really Appropriate. I wonder if I should send it to a friend of mine who thinks he's Job.

Job looks a little like Willie Nelson.

i agree with irina. the phrase "i cling with feeble fingers to the ledge of your great grace" has summed up the past year or so for me. and i'm glad that when my weak feeble fingers lose grasp of that ledge, that He is still holding me.
i can't recommend this book enough. the illustrations are amazing and the poem is one of the most powerful I've ever read.
