Next 2009: Thank You
To everyone who came, thank you for helping us rent the convention center so we could worship Jesus in downtown Baltimore. Thanks to all the pastors and leaders who brought people. Thanks to the young married couples and people my age who came and instead of "feeling old" rejoiced to see so many students living for Jesus. Thanks to all the Community Group leaders, volunteers and servants who made it all possible. Thanks to the team of people who came and prayed during every main session. Thanks to all the attendees who invested time caring for and reaching out to unsaved friends they'd brought. And thanks to all the people who couldn't come but who prayed for us. We hope you can join us next year.
Most of all thank you, Jesus, for helping us to see you more clearly. We are more amazed. You're bigger in our eyes.

Stephen Altrogge Reviews Dug Down Deep: Over at the Blazing Center blog they've posted a very generous review of the book. Read it.
Sex-Trafficking in USA: A recent nation-wide crackdown rescued 52 children from sex-trafficking. The LA Times reports that most victims in this wicked industry begin at age 12. And it's "estimated that 100,000 children are still involved in sex trafficking in the U.S., adding that the problem is growing partly because of the recession." Read the article.
Andrew Gallo VstheBrain: Here are some still shots and technical specs on the video shoot we did the other day. I haven't gotten around to asking Andrew to explain his company's name VstheBrain, but it sounds cool. Read post.

Is it possible to feel old and rejoice at the same time? =) It was good to be back in Baltimore... this was probably my favorite one yet!

Josh,
Thank you for all you and everyone involved did to make this conference happen. My husband and I brought a group up from our church, Crossway Fellowship. (I was the incoherent woman you spoke to the first night of the conference in the resource area.) In that group was our 17 year old son. It's been great to hear his heart as we have been drawing him out about what he expected and what he experienced. I think this conference has been a turning point for him in his walk with Christ, which brings me to the reaason for this note. He was very affected by Kevin DeYoung's testimony because he feels like he could really relate to him. Will you be posting the testimonies given? I know there are many others who attended that would like to be able to listen to them again.
Thank you,
Michelle Smith
