Sinclair Ferguson on Imputed Righteousness
Here's a short video of Sinclair Ferguson reflecting on the imputed righteousness of Christ, that is, "the simple glory of the Gospel that God counts to us the righteousness of Jesus Christ...not only are our sins forgiven, but the holiness of Jesus Christ is counted to us." You can come hear Sinclair preach on the resurrection and return of Jesus at Next 2009 later this month.

Can you tell me where the Bible says an alien righteousness is imputed to man, especially "Christ's righteousness"?

I don't see anything about "imputing" there nor a mention of "Christ's righteousness."

Nick,
I see from your site that you enjoy debating topics like this. I'm afraid I can't do this vital issue justice here on the blog. But if you're interested in studying this more, I'd recommend Piper's book, Counted Righteous in Christ. I think there's a free PDF version on the Desiring God site.
