Lecrae: Don't Waste Your Life Video
I've been enjoying Lecrae's album Rebel. It is Christ-exalting and spiritually provoking. This is the video produced by the amazing team at Desiring God for the song "Don't Waste Your Life."

Pilgrim's Progress Musical: Pilgrim is a modern musical adaptation of John Bunyan's classic work, Pilgrim's Progress. It was performed in spring 2009 by the high school students at my church. They did a great job. The script is by theatre professionals (and members of our church) Janice Mays and Cathy Mays. The music is by various artists, including Bob Kauflin, Zach Jones and Mark Altrogge. You can order a DVD of the production here.
Give Me An Answer Highschool Conference: I'm looking forward to joining Al Mohler, Russell Moore, Shane & Shane and hip-hop artist Flame at the SBTS conference for highschool students next spring. Details.
Stephen Altrogge Reviews Dug Down Deep: Over at the Blazing Center blog they've posted a very generous review of the book. Read it.

I greatly appreciate today's reformed rappers--they seemed to have a great reverence for preaching the truth through the spiritual gifts given by God. Thank you for posting this. Praise God!

I'm not usually into listening to rap, but, that was a GREAT SONG! God bless!

I have to say, I've not been a big fan of rap. But this is lyrical giftedness and I love it. Rap with a positive, deep message. Beats the pants off some mainstream music.
To God be the Glory!

I believe that's the issue-- mainstream radio/tv/etc doesn't cater to those of us who want substance in any genre. Sin sells, that's why we have to search for the good stuff. Thanks for posting, Josh.

This is a great song!! Listen to indwelling sin and truly be blessed! See, this is what it really about true reaching the lost so they can come to Christ and live!!!

If I understand this correctly, a guy in jail is reaching out to a friend/family member on the outside, correct? Wow...great testimony! I've seen it in the Navy too. Guys who come to Christ or rededicate to Christ will say, "I have to tell my wife/parents/friend!"
And since being in the Navy feels like prison sometimes, I thought that might relate. Ok, just kidding, but I liked this video.
