Give Uganda Water

In 2008, a team of men and women from our church traveled to western Uganda to visit and be involved in the work of Kiburara Gospel Centre Church. While in Kiburara they saw the filthy drinking water and learned that waterborne diseases were the leading cause of death. Motivated by what they observed, they returned home and by the end of the year raised enough money to build three wells for the village. Today waterborne illnesses are no longer the leading killers in Kiburara. This year their goal is to build an additional three wells in neighboring villages. We'd love your help. Learn more.

Thanks for posting this. I want to be involved in ministries that help the needy in Africa, but i am always fearful that the gospel won't be presented as well. In this situation I can count on physical and spiritual needs being met and addressed!

Pilgrim's Progress Musical: Pilgrim is a modern musical adaptation of John Bunyan's classic work, Pilgrim's Progress. It was performed in spring 2009 by the high school students at my church. They did a great job. The script is by theatre professionals (and members of our church) Janice Mays and Cathy Mays. The music is by various artists, including Bob Kauflin, Zach Jones and Mark Altrogge. You can order a DVD of the production here.
