My friend Donald Miller shares a helpful tip for writers: get a kitchen timer. Don explains, "When I have two or three writing assignments I just make a list, then pick one, then set my little timer for an hour or twenty minutes or whatever amount of time that specific assignment will cost me. And then, while the timer is ticking away on my desk, I don't let myself do anything else....When the timer goes off, I decide whether I want to keep working on it, or move on. It's a simple tool, but it works." Read more.

I'm a big fan as well. We have a whole library of children's "bibles" but this is only one of two that I actually like.
We have loved this Bible for a couple of years now. Our five year old is listening to the CD's now and can recite (and act out) some of the stories now. Best thing about this Bible is that it ties all of the stories together to point to Jesus, rather than simply presenting various random stories from the Bible.
Because I don't have a kid! I want one of those!
Our kids are blessed by Sally Lloyd-Jones work every night. It's a huge highlight to the day.
Is it possible to just get the Cds if you already own the book?
