The results are in. According to both our online voting and our panel of judges, Tristan Carnahan is the winner of the Dug Down Deep short film contest. Tonight I called Tristan and congratulated him. Here's a sampling of comments from our judges on his work:
"Brilliant! ...It was creative, engaging, fun, and clearly communicated Josh's heart behind the book. Well done!" - David Altrogge
"Thought Tristan's idea was executed excellently. I could see this idea playing out very poorly if done wrong... but he pulled if off great - conceptually and technically. ...I love how he built upon the 'Kinetic Typography' format and made it more earthy and organic!" - Andrew Gallo
Great job, Tristan. And thank you to the other five filmmakers who participated. And we're grateful to our judges and all the people who voted.
As his prize, Tristan will receive a Canon 7D Digital SLR, and the other excellent filmmakers will receive a gift card to B&H Photo Video, a small investment into their continued work to the glory of God.
Please help us spread the word about Dug Down Deep by embedding Tristan's film on your blog or Facebook page. Thanks!

Bravo, that was an excellent, well-done video and deserving of the prize.
I am buying the book because of the excerpt in this video. The sweet typography helped too.
