such a great reminder.
What a horrible way to live :( Begging for clarity from some non-entity rather than trying to seek it for oneself. Religion may be the savior of many a soul, but it's far too often a crutch and a burden for the people who are in the most need of guidance.

Religion hasn't saved a single soul. Religion is man's attempt to earn a relationship with God. The Christian faith is dependent on trust in the person of Jesus Christ who obeyed God and died on the cross for sins.
You state that faith in an unseen God is a crutch. In one sense you're right: Christians do lean on and trust in God. Without him, we are weak and helpless.
But I wonder what you're leaning on? Aren't you trusting in something...don't you have your own crutch? Maybe it's your intellect or reason or personal strength. Sadly, all of these are fallible and will eventually fail you.
Glad you stopped by the blog. I don't share any of these thoughts to belittle you or offend you. I do hope you'll consider the claims of Jesus Christ for yourself.

If I am weak and helpless without the presence of an arbitrarily popular Jewish zombie from book, I guess I might as well just lay down and die right now.
Self confidence, positivity, and love are all a person needs. Find strength in yourself. Simple as that.
