A Peasant's Feast

seafoodfriedrice.jpegBeing here in Oregon for a few weeks Shannon and I have had the chance to enjoy several meals prepared by my sister-in-law Kimi. She's blogged for two years at The Nourishing Gourmet where she shares how she feeds her family healthy food while on a budget (my brother--her husband--Joel is in Bible School right now and then hoping to attend Southern Seminary).

As a further resource to her readers Kimi has created an extensive 13-week ecourse called A Peasant's Feast: Nourishing Food on a Budget, which will be starting on June 28th. Kimi writes, "In a nutshell, this class will have two purposes. First, to share the basis principles of a nourishing, healthy diet. Secondly to share how I manage to eat a good diet while on a budget. I've found that many people desire to eat well, but feel they can only eat well on a rich man's budget. This ecourse is all about showing how the we can eat well on a reasonable budget."

To read more extensively about what each week of the ecourse will bring go here. And to see a free preview of some of the material, visit here.
